What it looks like to work with me

Here's an honest overview of the home buying journey - from our first conversation to getting your keys.

Initial consultation

We talk through your goals, timeline, must-haves, and budget. I'll ask questions most agents skip — like what your commute looks like or what kind of neighborhood energy you want.

Get pre-approved

Before we tour homes, you'll connect with a lender to get pre-approved. This tells us your real budget and makes your offer competitive. I have trusted local lenders I can connect you with.

Home search & tours

We'll search together based on your criteria. I'll set up a custom MLS search so you see new listings the moment they hit — and we can tour on your schedule, including virtually if you're relocating.

Making an offer

When you find the one, I'll walk you through a comparative market analysis so we know what to offer. I'll negotiate on your behalf and handle all the paperwork.

Under contract & inspections

Once accepted, we'll schedule inspections and go through due diligence. I'll help you understand what issues matter and when to negotiate repairs or credits.

Closing day

You'll sign final documents, funds transfer, and you get the keys. I'll be there to walk you through everything so nothing is a surprise.

A few things most buyers wish they had known earlier. These are things we will discuss in depth in our first meeting so you are properly prepared for this process.

Buyer's agent cost

As your buyer's agent, I'm typically compensated by the seller — so you get full representation, usually at no direct cost to you. My guide includes estimates of all costs you will see in the home buying process.

How long does it take to buy a home?

It typically takes 30-45 days to close on a home once you are under contract. You also have to factor in time to find the right home for you on the front end of that. I ALWAYS recommend starting earlier than you think.

Relocating from out of state?
